Let‘s chat about the leaderboard. We are so excited everyone loves it. It brings a little friendly competition to the gym but also allows you to see a goal as you prepare for what to expect in the workout of the day.
STANDARDS: These are important when it comes to your score. For example, if you are doing yellow and it says 20-15-10-5 wallballs (12/10) pushups to a box (24/30) step ups (24/20) In order to get on the leaderboard with a valid score, YOU MUST USE THE RECOMMENDED HEIGHT AND WEIGHTS. WALLBALLS must be done with the correct weight and also correct height which is below parallel on the squat and hit the female/male target line on the wall each rep. PUSHUPS are to be done to the correct box and your chest must touch the box each rep. STEP-UPS must be done at the right box height, hips completely opened up at the top and step back down. This will keep the scoring fair for everyone and allow the leaderboard to reflect the same standard for everyone. If you do not meet the standard for the workout, that’s ok. There will be workouts you will complete and some you have to scale. Be patient with yourself and remember your humble beginnings. Your time will come when you make the board =) |
